Certainly, as an ardent fan of both Bayern Munich and the German national team, one would naturally be disheartened by such an outcome. Presently, when confronting teams employing low-block defenses, a sense of the 'spark' that ignites decisive moments seems to be lacking. This deficiency has also manifested itself in matches within the Bundesliga. In the sequence of events leading to Viking's 2-0 lead, the vulnerabilities of Bayern were exposed: their transition from possession to defense was clumsy, and they were lacking adequate cover in their defensive line.
