杭州市体育局携手余杭区人民政府和浙江职业足球俱乐部，共同举办了“钱潮杯”国际青少年足球邀请赛。此赛事在杭州市足球协会和杭州市足球运动管理中心的协助下，得以顺利进行。作为杭州市的一项重要国际青少年足球盛事，“钱潮杯”被誉为该市青少年足球赛事的领军项目。
首届“钱潮杯”赛事在2025年拉开帷幕，吸引了来自国内外的顶尖U14足球队参与竞争。参赛队伍包括大区青训中心苏州基地选拔队、浙江省足球管理中心、上海申花足球俱乐部以及杭州市足球管理中心等四支国内劲旅，以及法国里昂、法国欧塞尔、日本浦和红钻、韩国全北现代、乌兹别克斯坦缔造者以及俄罗斯新西伯利亚等六支国际豪强，共计十支顶级球队。经过激烈的角逐，上海申花U14队脱颖而出，成功摘得首届“钱潮杯”的桂冠。
In the current year, the second edition of the "Qianchao Cup" welcomed competitors aged U15, with the number of participating teams expanding to a total of twelve. Among these, six teams hailed from within the nation, including Zhejiang FC, Jiangsu U15, Zhejiang Football Management Center U15, Shanghai Shenhua, Chongqing Youth Training U15, and Hangzhou U15. The remaining six teams were international entries, featuring Barnsley, Chiang Mai of Thailand, Belgrade Partizan, Santander竞技, Tashkent Football Association, and Standard Liege.
在本届“钱潮杯”中，相较于上届赛事，参赛阵容得以扩大，新增了国内球队的预选赛环节。在6支角逐预选赛的国内队伍中，上届冠军上海申花以及浙江FC、浙江足管中心U15队，以及东道主杭州U15队均直接晋级。此外，江苏U15和重庆青训U15则是通过预选赛的激烈角逐，脱颖而出，获得晋级资格。至于国外球队，此次均是以受邀身份参赛。
四个队伍集结成两个竞技单元，其中A单元包括浙江足球俱乐部、江苏U15队、伯恩茅斯足球俱乐部、泰国清迈足球俱乐部、贝尔格莱德足球俱乐部以及浙江足球管理中心U15队；而B单元则由上海申花足球俱乐部、重庆青少年训练U15队、桑坦德竞技足球俱乐部、塔什干足球协会、杭州U15队以及标准列日足球俱乐部组成。
The competition is divided into two phases: the group stage and the ranking stage. In the group stage, teams engage in a round-robin format, facing off against each other in five matches within their respective groups to determine their standings. The ranking stage features direct matchups between teams from the same group with identical positions, with a single game deciding the winner, runner-up, third-place finisher, and positions four through twelve.
在接受媒体访谈中，重庆青年训练U15的主教练郭明月指出，上海申花和浙江FC均为我国足球界的历史劲旅。上海申花作为上届冠军，队中有多名球员曾入选国家队。本年度，上海申花在“钱潮杯”的争夺中仍被视为有力竞争者。
