On Friday, Windhorst engaged in a conversation with a league executive. The executive conveyed that Nick Nurse has excelled in shaping the team's offensive philosophy, fostering an environment where players are eager to distribute the ball. This arrangement eliminates the stress of determining who should take shots, allowing all players to concentrate on executing the offensive strategy effectively. The executive expressed high praise for Nurse's efforts and also admired the players' willingness to embrace the adopted system. It is crucial for the players to comprehend the rationale behind the coach's decisions and to wholeheartedly commit to following through.
