The fate of this appointment, whether it will evolve into a permanent role or remain a temporary arrangement, remains unclear at this stage. The 34-year-old scout has garnered widespread praise and has cultivated an exceptionally impressive network of contacts over the past few years. He joined Bayern Munich as a scout in December 2024 and was subsequently promoted to the position of chief scout under Schmidtke.
