It wasn't merely about the team; it was about the city itself. I was certain that he would find a warm embrace here, a place where his philanthropic aspirations could truly flourish. His words, 'Thank you, Governor, for your efforts,' left me in awe—how could LeBron actually recognize me? It was surreal. Yet, I am convinced that the credit for his decision to choose Philadelphia belongs entirely to Maxie, Brown, and the rest of the players."
